E-Bike Cycling Cruise Kvarner Bay; Round-Trip Omisalj 7nts on MS Linda (Fridays)

Individual arrival at Omisalj on the island of Krk. Board between 1 and 1:30 pm, and at 2 pm we set off on our first cruise to Rabac on the Istrian peninsula, a coastal town ringed by clear blue water with cafes along the seaside promenade. Explore on foot and settle in on board. Night in Rabac.

The ride starts with a steady climb from sea level to the town of Labin, with the first views over the Kvarner Bay. We cycle through the landscapes of Istria and small rural villages before returning to Labin for lunch, then descend to the boat and cruise to Cres, a quaint harbour town of Italian architecture. Night in Cres. Approx. 39 km.

From Cres we ride to Martinscica, where the boat waits and lunch is served on the cruise to Losinj. Weather permitting the captain arranges a swim stop before we tie up in Mali Losinj, whose colourful facades and cafes make for a relaxed evening. Approx. 28 km.

We cycle the seaside promenade to the south of Losinj and the small harbour town of Veli Losinj before returning to the ship for lunch. In the afternoon we cross to Ilovik for a swim stop at anchor or on the beach. A peaceful night on this quiet island. Approx. 20 km.

A round tour of Rab through changing landscapes, from coastal promenades to shaded forest and secluded bays, starting from the old town. Back in town there is free time before a guided city tour. Night in the town of Rab. Approx. 25 km.

A morning cruise to Krk town, with its lovely old town, then a round tour inland from the coast through vineyards and small villages. Back in Krk we spend the evening among the alleyways and terrace bars near the sea. Night in Krk. Approx. 21 km.

On the last riding day we cross the island ridge, covered in fragrant macchia, to a valley of vineyards and the small museum town of Vrbnik, built on a 50-metre cliff and home to the white wine Zlahtina. The ride continues through old villages back to Omisalj, with a chance to swim in the bay of Soline. A celebratory dinner on board closes the week. Approx. 47 km.

One final breakfast onboard. Check-out of your cabin by 9am.
