ITINERARY:
This is an independent tour, so you can arrive any day at any time. Hotel check-in is from 14.00hrs but you can leave your bags with reception if you arrive before your room is ready.

Day 1 ZAGREB - Arrival (arrive any time)
Arrive any time to Zagreb Airport, Train Station or Bus Station. Private Transfer to your hotel. Remainder of day at leisure. Overnight in Zagreb.

Day 2 In ZAGREB (B)
This morning, enjoy a city tour featuring the historic Upper Town, St. Mark’s Church, St. Catherine’s Church, the Cathedral, the Parliament and the Government Palace. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Zagreb.

Day 3 to Ljubljana, then to LAKE BLED (B)
Start your day with transfer to Ljubljana, capital of Slovenia, where you will enjoy a walking tour. Visit the most significant sights of the old city centre: the picturesque Central open-air Market and the Three Bridges, both designed by famous architect Joze Plecnik, Baroque Town Hall and Robba's Fountain. Afterwards, continue to Bled, beautifully set amidst the Julian Alps. Overnight in Bled.

Day 4 In LAKE BLED (B)
A sightseeing tour of Bled features the charming town with the lakeshore, and imposing Bled Castle, perched on a cliff high above the lake. The balance of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Bled.

Day 5 to Postojna Cave, via Opatija, then to PLITVICE (B)
After breakfast, journey south to Postojna, home to one of the largest caves in Europe. Tour the fantastic subterranean world by miniature electric train. Return to the coast and travel along the beautiful bay of Kvarner to its popular resort, Opatija. After some free time, continue on to Plitvice Lakes. Check-in late afternoon. Overnight in Plitvice.

Day 6 Lakes Tour, then via Trogir, then to SPLIT (B)
Morning tour of Plitvice Lakes National Park. Upon arrival, have your camera ready and take a walking tour around several of the lower lakes. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery of this natural wonder of 16 terraced lakes surrounded by thickly wooded mountains and lush vegetation. After the Lakes, your driver will pick you up and head to Trogir, the center of artistic activities where scholars from around the world gather to study and paint here. Short stop for sightseeing, then onto Split to finish. Drop off at hotel, port or airport as required.
