An independent tour, 3 nights based in Dubrovnik, available on request from April to October as a pre or post-cruise extension. Dates are arranged around your cruise rather than fixed, and the two day trips run as shared small group excursions with a guide. This Dubrovnik tour to Mostar and Montenegro covers three countries in three nights without ever changing hotel. You stay in Dubrovnik throughout and travel out twice: north across the Bosnian border through the Neretva valley to Mostar, where the rebuilt bridge spans a town that is genuinely two cultures on two riverbanks, and south into Montenegro for the Bay of Kotor, a UNESCO-listed inlet ringed by fortified medieval towns. Your first day is free to walk the Dubrovnik walls at your own pace. No repacking and no long transfer days, which makes it the easiest way to add the Balkans to a Croatian cruise.

A full-day escorted coach excursion to Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina, passing through the Neretva Valley and the local countryside. Mostar is where east meets west, a town of contrasts in culture, colour and cuisine, divided not only by the Neretva River but by the different cultures on either bank. Return to Dubrovnik in the evening. Overnight in Dubrovnik.
Day 3Dubrovnik - Bay of Kotor - DubrovnikB
A full-day escorted coach excursion to the Bay of Kotor in Montenegro, a country of natural and cultural contrasts. The bay holds UNESCO World Heritage status and combines dramatic landscapes, well-preserved medieval towns and clear water. Return to Dubrovnik in the evening. Overnight in Dubrovnik.
