ITINERARY:
Check-in to your room from 14.00hrs. Passengers who arrive earlier can leave their bags at Reception until their room is ready. Dinner and first overnight in hotel, so late arrivals are possible.

Day 1, ZAGREB, CROATIA - Arrival (D)
On arrival to the airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The balance of the day is free. Meet your fellow travellers tonight at a Welcome Dinner at your hotel around 7pm.

Day 2, ZAGREB (B)
This morning, enjoy a city tour featuring the historic Upper Town, St. Mark’s Church, St. Catherine’s Church, the Cathedral, Parliament, and Government Palace. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the winding streets of the old town or take an optional excursion to see the countryside.

Day 3, to LJUBLJANA & BLED, SLOVENIA (B, D)
After breakfast head towards Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. See the most significant sights of the old city center on a walking tour. Highlights include the picturesque open-air Central Market, the Three Bridges, Baroque Town Hall, and Robba's Fountain. Then, continue to Bled.

Day 4, BLED (B)
Located in the foothills of the Julian Alps, Bled is set along an alpine lake surrounded by dramatic high peaks and a picture perfect setting. Day 5, to POSTOJNA & to OPATIJA & PLITVICE, CROATIA (B, D)
Your journey continues to Postojna, home to one of the largest caves in Europe. Tour this fantastic subterranean world by miniature electric train for a truly one-of-a-kind experience! Afterwards, head towards the coast and stop by the popular seaside town of Opatija. Learn about the history of this fashionable 19th century resort town dotted with Austro-Hungarian Habsburg period villas that still retains its glamour and charm from a bygone era. Enjoy some free time in Opatija before travelling on to Plitvice Lakes.

Day 6, to SPLIT (B, D)
Have your camera handy as you visit the World Heritage listed Plitvice Lakes National Park today. Enjoy a relaxing walking tour of the 16 breathtaking, turquoise lakes and cascading waterfalls surrounded by thickly wooded mountains and lush vegetation. At the conclusion of the tour, continue onwards to Split.

Day 7, SPLIT (B)
As Croatia’s second largest city, Split has evolved from the ruins of the remarkable Diocletian’s Palace, the retirement home of Dalmatian born Emperor Diocletian, to the contemporary hub it is today. Enjoy a sightseeing tour this morning of the historic inner city where you can witness the remnants of Split’s Roman heritage seamlessly juxtaposed against modern development. Visit the Peristyle, Jupiter’s temple and St. Domnius Cathedral before having the remainder of the afternoon free to stroll through the beautiful cobblestone streets of Old Town.

The rest of the day is at leisure to discover more of Dubrovnik. You could take the cable car up Mt. Srd for superb aerial views of the old town, take a walk along the outstanding city walls.
