Before you book — a few things to check
- Check the map carefully. Many Croatian towns have similar names, and not all accommodation is in the old town area. We’ve included area maps for Split and Dubrovnik below.
- Pedestrian zones: If you book inside an old town pedestrian zone, transfers cannot pick you up at the door. You’ll need to meet them at a pre-arranged point outside the zone.
- Mobility: Not all hotels have lifts to upper floors, and porterage isn’t always available.
- Amenities: Not all properties have mini-bars or tea/coffee facilities — check before you book.
