Croatia Cruise Port Locations: 2026 Arrival Guide
Important: Split Port Renovations
Due to the multi-year reconstruction of Gat Sv Petra in Split, most 2026 and 2027 small ship cruises have been redirected. Trogir is now the primary departure hub. Ships that still use Split will mostly dock at the West Split Port, not the traditional ferry terminal. Please verify your embarkation point on your travel voucher.
General Boarding Information for All Cruises
Before heading to the port — contact your Cruise Coordinator!
You must contact your Cruise Coordinator on embarkation day to locate your ship. Your ship’s exact dock position changes every departure. Call or WhatsApp your Cruise Coordinator using the number on your ‘Cruise Contacts & Voucher’ email BEFORE you head to the port. They will tell you exactly where your ship is. If you don’t have a local SIM, WhatsApp works on Wi-Fi.
When calling from your mobile, dial with a plus sign (+) at the beginning — for example +385-xxxxxxxx (not 00385-xxxxxxxx).
You can usually drop bags on the ship’s deck from around 10am. Cabin check-in is typically from 2pm. If your independent transport is delayed, contact your Cruise Manager directly using the WhatsApp or phone number on your travel voucher.
You may need to walk around the port to find your ship — it can be hidden behind other vessels. Don’t worry: most cruise staff at the port can point you in the right direction, even if they work for a different company. Don’t hesitate to ask.
Trogir Port: Municipal Riva (Primary 2026 Hub)
Located just 5km from Split Airport, Trogir is the most frequent start and end point for 2026 itineraries. Ships dock along the main waterfront promenade (Riva). Trogir is a compact island town — if arriving by taxi, ask for “Trogir Riva” near the Kamerlengo Fortress.

Dubrovnik Port: Luka Gruž (Gruz Harbour)
All Dubrovnik small ship cruises depart from Gruz harbour — not the Old Town port. This is Dubrovnik’s main ferry port, located at the opposite end of the city from the old town (approximately 3km from the Old City walls). Look for signs marked ‘PORT GRUZ’.

Address: Obala Ivana Pavla II, Dubrovnik
Because of the numerous ships at Gruž port, Port Authorities may assign your vessel to any of these three locations along the 1000m pier:
a) Across from the fish and vegetable markets
b) Near the local ferry arrivals
c) Under Franjo Tuđman Bridge (up to 800m from the main terminal)
Getting there:
– From Dubrovnik Airport to Gruž Port: Rome2Rio directions
– From Pile Gate (Old Town) to Gruž Port: Rome2Rio directions
Split Port: West Split Port (Limited Use in 2026)
Some cruises still use Split, but due to the Gat Sv Petra reconstruction, ships will mostly dock at the West Split Port (Zapadna Obala) — located directly across the harbour from the traditional cruise port and main bus and train stations.
Address: Obala kneza Branimira, Split

Important: If arriving by airport shuttle bus, you will be dropped at the main harbour (Trajektna Luka). From there, West Split Port is approximately a 15-minute walk across the harbour via the Riva / old town or a short taxi ride around the city.
Getting there:
– From Split Airport to Split West Port: Rome2Rio directions (shuttle bus approximately 45–60 minutes, around €10; taxi approximately €50–60)
