SundayTrogir to Bol and VisBLT

An early departure for Brac and the town of Bol, with a swimming stop at Zlatni Rat, the shingle spit that changes shape with the wind and the current. Lunch on board on the crossing to Vis, closed to foreign visitors until 1989 and still the least developed of the larger islands. A wine tasting is included, and the town sits beside the remains of ancient Issa, with Roman baths, the town museum and a shore walk past the villae rusticae. Overnight in Vis town, or at Komiza on the west of the island if berths at Vis are full.

Day 3
MondayVis to Bisevo Blue Cave and HvarBL

An early run out to the islet of Bisevo for the Blue Cave, where late morning light through an underwater opening turns the water an intense blue. An afternoon guided tour covers the Renaissance cathedral, the 1612 community theatre and the fortress above the town. Overnight in Hvar, or at Stari Grad if berths at Hvar are full.

Day 4
TuesdayHvar to KorculaBL

A morning swim stop and lunch on board on the way to Korcula, a walled town on a promontory with a street plan laid out to catch the summer breeze. A guided walking tour takes in the cathedral, the walls and the bastions. It is the only place where the Moreska sword dance is still performed. Overnight in one of the ports of Korcula, either the town centre port or Domince about 3 km out.

WednesdayKorcula to Mljet National ParkBLCD

On to Mljet, where the national park covers the west of the island and entry is paid on the spot. Two saltwater lakes are joined to the sea by a narrow channel, with a boat across to St Mary islet and its 12th century Benedictine monastery. Swim, walk or cycle the shore path. The Captain's Dinner with live music is served on board. Overnight in Pomena or Polace.
