Check-in at Marina Baotic from 13:00, with a guided walking tour of Trogir before the ship leaves. Lunch on board as the coast opens up, then a swim stop in a quiet bay on the crossing to Hvar. Hvar town has a Renaissance cathedral with its original tower and the oldest community theatre in Europe, founded in 1612, and the Spanjola fortress above the rooftops is worth the climb for the view over the Pakleni islands. Overnight in Hvar, or at Stari Grad if berths at Hvar are full.

Breakfast on board and a morning swim stop on the way south to Korcula. The old town sits on a walled promontory with a fishbone street plan built to catch the breeze and block the wind, and it claims Marco Polo as a local. A guided walking tour takes in the cathedral, the town walls and the bastions. Konobas and wine bars fill the lanes in the evening. Overnight in one of the ports of Korcula, either the town centre port or Domince about 3 km out.

An early departure for Mljet, the greenest island in the south, where the national park covers the western end and entry is paid on the spot. Two connected saltwater lakes sit inside it, with a boat across to the islet of St Mary and its 12th century Benedictine monastery. Swim in the lakes, walk or cycle the shore path, then lunch on board before the run down to Dubrovnik. Dinner on board. Overnight in Gruz harbour.

A full day in Dubrovnik. A guided tour of the old town covers Stradun, the cathedral and the Rector's Palace, and the 1,940 m circuit of the walls is open to walk, best done early before the heat. An optional cable car runs up to Srd for the view over the red roofs and the islands offshore. The afternoon and evening are free. Overnight in Gruz harbour.

North to the Peljesac Peninsula with a swim stop and lunch on board. Trstenik is a working fishing village at the foot of the Dingac slopes, where the steep terraces above the village produce the best known red wine in Croatia. A tasting at a local winery is included. Dinner on board. Overnight in Trstenik.

A morning of cruising and swimming on the way to Pucisca on Brac, a village of white stone at the head of a deep inlet, and home to one of the last stonemasonry schools in Europe. Time to walk the harbour and visit a workshop. The Captain's Dinner with live music is served on board. Overnight in Pucisca.

The last full day, with a swim stop and lunch on board on the short leg back across to the mainland. Trogir's old town sits on its own small island between the mainland and Ciovo, a compact grid of marble streets, Renaissance and Baroque palaces, the Cathedral of St Lawrence and Radovan's Portal. Evening at leisure. Overnight at Marina Baotic.

Breakfast on board, then check-out and farewell to the crew. Split Airport is about 10 minutes away.
